Premier League Dominate The Money League

Out of 10/6 Premier League are on the list to top the money league. Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Manchester City and Chelsea make up the top five, while Barcelona's Champions League triumph cannot halt their slide.

Manchester United have become the first football club brand to be worth over $1billion. while Manchester City and Chelsea chase Real Madrid and Bayern Munich with 4th and 5th place respectively. As German champions Bayern Munich holds 2nd place and the spanish powerhouse and transsfer records giants Real Madrid placed 3rd in the money league.

Barcelona, despite their Champions League triumph, have dropped to sixth, being leapfrogged by the two English clubs.

United themselves rose to claim top spot from Bayern, having undergone 63 per cent growth, with sponsors’ desire to be associated with the club's brand undimmed.

The current shirt deal with Chevrolet (£47 million per year) is worth more than double that with previous partner AON, while the club have also signed a 10-year £750million deal with Adidas to be the club's new kit provider.

Dispite winning treble Barcelona did not have the result they wanted, Saturday's Champions League final alone adding $28million to their brand value - contributing to an overall increase on 2014 of $151million.

Though Clasico rival Real Madrid didn't made any serious step efforts in trophy and Barcelona winning alomst everything this season this season, Madrid are $100 million front.

Arsenal and Liverpool rank seventh and eighth, with French quadruple winners PSG ranking ninth and Tottenham Hotspur completing the top 10 - although Spurs brand value is almost HALF of their north London rivals.
